Hi,
One quick question: after I apply the paper to the tin with Modge Podge, do I let it dry before applying the top sealing layer of Modge Podge, or can I apply the "top" coat immediately? Linda
I made mine last night and had bubbles all over the place. The paper seemed to dry pretty quickly, so I immediately started mod-podging over the top, and that's when bubbles started appearing everywhere. I was so bummed!
But by the time I woke up this morning, the bubbles had completely disappeared.
I modge podge top and bottom at the same time and have found that double sided paper has less bubbling - probably a sturdier type of cardstock, I guess. The one-sided stuff bubbled and even tore a tiny bit - giving it a distressed look (not one I wanted). That's my $0.02.
