Inks for Black Ice technique
 

Can you use other inks besides Archival Basic Black for the Black Ice technique? I tried Early Espresso and it doesn't seem to be working. TIA!

I heard a SU demo say you could use StazOn. I haven't tried this technique yet so can't comment whether that's fact or not.

It seems from the videos I watched it needs to be a permanent ink, rather than a dye based, so I too would think Staz-on should work. Saw this technique a few weeks ago, still not got around to trying it yet. :)

I tried the StazOn and it worked great! Bonus: it dries more quickly! Thanks!
