Over the years I have submitted about 50 cards to Rubber Stamper magazine and have been lucky enough to have 5 actually published. Hardly an expert, but I'd be more than happy to answer questions as best as I can.
Emily, I've had some things in Rubber Stamper, Take Ten and Stampers Sampler - I'd be happy to see if I can answer your questions, if you want to PM me.
I am more interested in ones that pay actual money. I have been in Take Ten and Stampers Sampler, you just get a free magazine.
I would like to be able to support my stamping habit a bit better (since I am a hobby demo with no customers but myself and my sister that is moving to China!) I try to only buy stamps with my stamping money and not the family money and I've done that, but dh losing his job has done a number on all that and I want to be able to do a bit more here. I have no idea if I can even get published, but I'd like to know more about it.
I'd be very interested in these responses, so could you please compile and post? I personally have made it a goal to sell some cards this year. I have stamps from other companies with full angel policies, and am planning to sell in local shops. I really need to find a way to make more money off of my habit!!
I've been very happy with my experiences with PaperCrafts magazine. Not only do they pay well, they return your project, send 1 to 3 copies of the magazine your project appears in and when they returned a card at Christmas, they included a Christmas present of cardmaking/scrapping goodies! It's simple to submit over the internet so you don't have to part with your project until it's accepted. Plus the people you work with are exceptional. Once you've been published, they put you on the call email list so you'll know what they're looking for. But you can find their current call lists at Papercraftsmag.com. Click on magazine then submit your work. The current call is for holiday cards, tags, gifts and wrap. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me or ask away. HTH
There is Paper Trends and Cards Magazine. I think they both pay. These magazines are both on the same website (along with Scrapbook Trends) and they have calls out right now and I think they are asking for stamped cards.
I'm not sure about Cardmaker Mag but they may pay also. I think you may have to email them for their call schedule.
The one thing I've noticed about a lot of these is that there has, in the past, not been a lot of stamping on a lot of the cards. Now, with quite a few new stamp companies coming out at CHA this year, that may change (let's hope because I LOVE stamping on my cards!)
Oh, and I think Scrap and Stamp Arts pays $10. per card.

Wow...that is just too darn neat about PaperCrafts magazine. Might have to whip up a few cards and try it just for kicks. I was unaware that anyone even paid.
