Default Question for Gina K?

I am wondering if Honey Mustard and Pumpkin Spice cardstock are the same color (renamed), or different? If they are different, what is the difference in color?
I know Soft Sand and Sandy beach are different (right?) Soft Sand was my very favorite, why was it replaced?
Thanks,
Vicki

Hi Vicki,

We work with 3 different mills for our card stock. Occasionally they will discontinue a color and we have no choice but to remove it from our product line. Soft Sand was unfortunately one of those colors. They came up with a color that was very close but we didn't like the texture so we decided to add a color that was similar but a little bit warmer which is Sandy Beach. Sandy Beach is almost like a lighter version of Kraft.

Soft Sand was a favorite of mine too but I am enjoying Sandy Beach as well. :(

Pumpkin Spice is also the victim of a mill that has decided to discontinue a couple of colors.

Honey Mustard is truly the color of a deep Honey Mustard Salad dressing. It also looks a LOT like Brown Mustard you put on hot dogs. LOL!

They are two completely different colors and at this time we do not have a replacement for Pumpkin Spice. That being said, we do have some more really pretty colors coming soon.

Hugs,
Gina K.

I had a question about the white cardstock that I sent through the online store two weeks ago but never received an answer. Are we not to ask products questions there? I figure I'll try here instead - I know a lot of you know a lot about her products.

I'd like to try some of the heavy weight white card stock. When I went to order card stock, I see I was to just pick the color out of the list. How do I know that I'm ordering the heavier weight and not the layering weight? It didn't seem like there was any place to differentiate.

Thanks for any guidance you can give me!

Hi Laura!!! Right above the quantity box there is a box that you would type in the name of the color cardstock you would like!
You won't be sorry, Gina's white is my absolute favorite and the only white I use!!!

Hi Laura,
First, let me apologize if you sent an email ro emails to customer service and didn't get a response. I will look into that. I know we follow up on all emails everyday but occasionally an email or two will go to spam and we aren't sure why that's happening. We are investigating that problem with our email provider.

In the meantime, let me answer your question. We have two categories on our site for card stock- heavy base weight and layering weight. If you click on the heavy base weight, all of the available colors are on the chart and you can type in the color you want.

The layering weight also has a color chart, (Very minimal color line right now but growing...) and you would choose a color from that chart and type it in.

For easy reference, here are those categories:

Heavy Base Weight-http://www.shop.ginakdesigns.com/product.sc?productId=1036&categoryId=137

Layering Weight-http://www.shop.ginakdesigns.com/product.sc?productId=1037&categoryId=137

If you ever have trouble getting through again, you can call us Monday- Thursday from 9-3 central time at 608-838-3258 or, of course, you can send me a PM here or at StampTV and I will get back to you asap.

Sorry for any inconvenience!
Hugs,
Gina K.

Thanks for the answers and the links Gina. I should know I could ask here at SCS - everyone is so nice and friendly and usually knows the answer to just about any question!

I check in here at least once a week to see if anyone has asked a question about GKD or StampTV. I'm sorry you had to wait so long for an answer!! Hugs!
