Default What do you put the Snowman "soup" ingredients in?

I'm going to make the snowman soup with the mug template for my piano students for Christmas presents. I'm ordering It's Snow Time today! I'm wondering if you just use sandwich bags for the packet of hot cocoa mix and the marshmallows and hershey's kiss and peppermint stick.

Ideas?

Thanks!

Susan

In my snowman soups, a plastic spoon with chocolate melted on it (white and dark), an individual packaage of hot chocolate, some mini marshmellows, and the poem is stapled on the outside of the celophane bag so that when the person lifts the flag, they see the poem and the celophage bag. Good luck and have fun making them!

I like to use the plastic decorating bags you can get from Wilton or other cake decorating stores. These are cone shaped and look good with the hot cocoa on the bottom then layered with the other ingredients on top and a bow or tie at the top. They sit well in a mug or can made to hang.

Hope this helps.

At Albertson's today they had individual packages of Land o' Lakes Hot Cocoa mix on sale 2/$1.

I bought a bunch because I like them, but now maybe I'll make some gifts with them, too!

I like the idea of putting it all in a snowman mug (there were some really cute ones at Target, but I don't remember how much they cost) and wrapping it up with white tulle.

Great idea, If I had thought of it sooner, I would have tried it. I bought some of the snowman mugs in the Target $1 Spot, and I think those will turn out pretty cute too.
