BCRibbon S U Mini muslin bags- Ink used

Do you have to use Staz on Ink to stamp on the S U mini muslin bags? I found dozens on Pinterest but haven't found out the ink they used...Thanks

Stazon is not recommended for stamping on fabric - it says so, right on the packaging. I know lots of people do use it and it's probably fine but there are lots of fabric-safe choices so why risk it? (Tsukineko say that with its solvent base, Stazon may degrade the fibres of some fabrics over time.)

Versacraft is great for fabric stamping and is permanent if you iron it once it's dry (fine for going through laundry, for example). Brilliance also works well - I haven't used it on projects that need washing but it seems pretty permanent.

HTH!

Another ink to consider is Memento Luxe. This is a pigment ink in most of the Memento dye ink colors. It works great on fabric. As Joanne mentioned, you will have to heat-set using an iron for maximum permanence.
I have also used 'non-permanent' dye ink on fabric - particularly if I don't plan on washing them. I do suggest that if you want to use a dye ink, test first! I learned that lesson early.

I'd second the "test first" here - dye inks are more likely to spread or "feather" on fabric than the pigment inks mentioned so far which might be fine for some stamps but could ruin the look of others if it happens so testing with the combo of ink and fabric you plan to use for your project could save heartache later!
