I see all these cute pocket cards in the gallerys, but where do people get the templates? Are they making them on their own or are they buying the "pocket and pieces" out of the catty? Please help as I'd love to make my own!!
TYIA!!
Please hit the search button and type in pocket card. I just did a search on this a couple of weeks ago - sorry that I don't have the time to do it right now for you.
I think if you go to the advanced search and specify doing the search in the Technique forum, it will cut down on the posts you have to wade thru, and you will find the template.
The answer is both. You can use the pockets and pieces set and get all sorts of neat little add ons for your cards. It is a pretty neat little kit. Much more useful than the tag sheets which I hope they are phasing out.
You can also make your own. Instead of cutting your standard cs in half width wise creating a piece 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" cut the card stock length wise creating a sheet 4-1/4" x 11. Then you can fold at 5-1/2" and still have a standard size card. From there, have fun. Use a good adhesive along the sides of the card (I suggest sticky strip) and insert a piece no wider than 3-1/4" so that it can slide in and out easily.
Thanks for the info. I had also been wondering how all these pocket cards were being made.
