Just thought I would introduce myself and say Hi :] and that I'm new to stamping and I'm loving it. I'm slowly getting a collection and looking for excuses to make cards.
My name is Alicia and I just graduated from college and I'm currently taking some time off before I head back for graduate school. Card making has become my hobby and seeing everyone else's card is such an inspiration!
I'm new to this site, so I'm still trying to figure out how it works. I can't seem to upload photos of some cards I have made, do I need to have a certain number of posts?
Hi Alicia, welcome to Splitcoast and to your new hobby!
You can upload photos to the gallery right away - they'll need to be approved by a gallery moderator so there will be a little gap before they're visible to everyone. Click on the gallery link up top right and follow the steps for uploading a card. Everyone appreciates if you can add a few details to your gallery uploads to identify the main supplies you used (stamps, ink colour, name of embossing folder for example).
If you're trying to add a picture as an attachment to a post then yes, you have to have a certain number of posts (I forget how many - 10 maybe?). It's really a security thing to stop nasty spammers posting pics we'd rather not see!
We have a thread full of helpful hints and suggestions for navigating and using the site. You can find it HERE. If you have specific questions, let us know. We're glad you are here!
