Help!
Anyone have suggestions? I need to make two for ds (one from me and one from my mom)
I guess something "edgy", graphic, I have no idea. Heart stamps just aren't going to cut it.

I have NO idea. I have a teenage son too- and he doesn't get too thrilled over my cards anyway- but I would still like to make him SOMETHING! I am subscribing to see what everyone else thinks!
I'm in the same dilemma. I bought 2 taget mailboxes, and will decorate one for each kid, but have to come up with something good for my 14 yr. old son.My 5 yr, old dd will love the hearts and goodies.
My 14 yr old (soon to be 15) likes my twisted sense of humor, my punny stuff, so I stay away from traditional valentine theme with him. Find paper that matches his style or color preferences, go from there.
Using masculine colors not necessarily traditional Valentines colors would help. Also, I think denim is always acceptable for masculine cards esp. teenage. Just a thought.

I made one for my 14 year old son that was Brocade Blue & Kraft and had the LIKE NO UDDER cow and sentiment from the Very Punny set. My husband thinks my son will like it - but who really knows?! Boys this age are so hard!
oh I have just had a craft aha moment - I love Lauren's blog and remembered this post - now with boy colours and something like - "You're on my playlist!" think you will have a hit with most teenboys or girls.
Thanks Lauren - you don't know me but you always spark my imagination!
Oooh! Maybe using Basic Grey, Black and White. I will have to try that out! And the pun sets are a good idea too! But I know if I give him chocolate he will be happy anyway.
Why not dress up a chocolate bar with designer paper and add a hand-written tag that says something like: Sweets for my Sweetie! If he likes chocolate, you've got it made, baby!!!! ;) Keep it simple and keep it chocolate.
thank you everyone! Great ideas! I know he won't really care about a card-just the chocolate so no worries with whatever I create. You're all so right!
