Ideas for using White craft ink

Does anyone have any good unique ideas for using the White craft ink? All I think of using it for is snowflakes but there has to be more out there-RIGHT!???

Thanks!!

I'd love to know too - I ordered a pad when I had some good ideas but then I forgot!! Heehee. I think I have some other stuff I had to get & then couldn't remember why!!

I like doing a toile look stamping white craft ink on dark cardstock (night of navy). It can look cool for lots of different images stamped on dark cardstock. I always forget and tend to stamp images with black or colors on white/ vanilla but the opposite can be a nice effect.

I used the white craft pad to create a "denim" look on one of the cards in my gallery. You can click the link below to my gallery to have a look. I used it with the Pocket Fun set. Turned out great!

Sometimes images stamped with white look really vibrant on dark paper. Experiment with stamps other than snowflakes....I used the Stipple Butterfly on Not Quite Navy and it looked great!

use it next fall with black paper & Halloween ghost stamps=very spooky!

I've also used it with a 'schoolboard' stamp I have
it looks like chalk on a chalkboard - used med green paper

also used with navy paper using a stamp with 2 children looking up at the night sky

also I've used white with snowman stamps

I use it just like the regular pads to watercolor! It's nice to lighten areas of a design.

You can also pounce pastels onto the wet ink. It allows any color pastel to show up on dark cardstock. (I hope that makes sense)

I haven't gotten mine yet (it's ordered!) but one of the things I got it for was to do "negative" stamping.

For instance, take an image and stamp once in real red (or any color) on white cs and once in white ink on real red (same color as before) cs. Then cut each in half (horizontally, vertically, diagonally, whatever!) and put them together to layer on your card! Hope that's understandable!

Sorta like this!!

Thankes for all of the great ideas! I was only using mine for snowflakes, ghosts and snowmen. I had never thought of the other ideas!

white pad

I used my craft pad to stamp on night of navy or real red cardstock. then I stamped to row of trees from lovely as a tree. You can leave it or emboss it with white powder. It is beautiful. You can see an example in my gallery.
