Ideas/stamp sets for baby announcements?

(please excuse my 1 fingered typing-on left side bedrest)

Flipping through my SU catalog and surfing gallery for baby announcement ideas. Can anyone help? It's a boy-due April 16, but I probably won't make it that long.

I only see 4 options, but am I missing something?

Somebunny New - too cutesy
Maternal Instincts - kind of leaves out my DH, who is DEFINITELY an involved daddy
Welcome Little One - just okay

Can someone steer me in the right direction?

I love I'm Here too! It would be just adorable with the blue gingham ribbon. :)

What about I'm Here. It has a cute set of handprints and footprints. There are also matching wheels.

Why not try "Wash Day" jumbo wheel? That would be so cute on US Vanilla in Bliss Blue ink and then have "Welcome Little One" stamped above it.

CUTE!!

Hi Julie,
I am due on April 16th also!!
Sorry to here that you are on bedrest.
I'm not planning on doing anouncments but I am going to use the wash day wheel (on page 107) for my thank you cards.
My sister had sent me and idea for an anouncment using the wash day wheel but I can't find where I saved it on my computer. I will post later if I find it.

I too am planning my daughters baby announcements - scheduled c-section on April 4th. So sorry you are on bed rest. Hope all is okay.
Here is what I am planning - wash day jumbo wheel on us white watercolored and mounted on coordinating designer papers. Much like the sample in the idea book and catalog. You could do something similar, but in blue or green. Hope that helps and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. :)

I love the "Itsy Bitsy baby" from Figures of Speech set. I use that with the rattle from Sketch an event often for baby cards. I just posted a card today using both sets.

I love the set called "Announcements." It's on the same page with "Welcome Little One" in the current catty.

Baby Announcements

Hello,

Sorry to hear that you are on bedrest. I am due April 5th and doing some baby announcement cards myself and the sets that I have recently purchased to make the cards with are:

A New Little Someone
Baby Firsts and the matching wheel Baby Time.

Hope this helps out a little.

Take Card.

Tanya :)

When I had my little man I used the Toy Box set. We are an Air Force family and that little airplane is just TOO cute!

Good luck,
A.

IDEAS BABY ANNOUNCEMENT

HI,
I am also due for a planned c section march 17, and am planning to make my own announcements. I will use the I'm here set, I like how you can punch out the letters to spell the baby's name, with vellum cardstock and mauve mist ink and cardstock. but there is a cute card in the smorgasborders gallery called Abby love, just type it into the search box.
it has a little tag on the front with a tiny pix of the little one. its different, but i like it alot.
HTH
