Default ideas for making a self standing BIA recipe holder?

I have a great idea - to make a recipe album for all the 20 somethings moving out on their own in my extended family (12 of them). I thought I would type up the family recipes we all love and print them out on cardstock and decorate with my stamps and then bind w/the BIA.

I was originally thinking of something I have seen here - can't find in a search because I probably don't have the correct name for it.

I was thinking it would have a "base" that was scored/folded to have like a mountain fold in the middle of the bottom that would make the recipe holder stand up. The actual recipes would flip on the spiral binding to the back.

Does this make sense or is my brain fried tonight and its clear as mud?? LOL
If someone can give me a better idea of what to call it, I'll try and search again. TIA Andrea
