If all stamps were a dollar, I would have approximately 7500 stamps right now!!! AT LEAST!!! How about if every other stamp was a dollar? That would be good!

I often wonder how the stamp companies that provide the dollar-fifty stamps at Michaels clear a profit. It must work for them, though, and i was prety happy to get a 'set' of seven wood-mounted stamps for ten-fifty.

Yeah, how come Michaels can sell them for $1, but no one else can? What's up with that? You know how Americans are suckers for things for a $1! We'll buy 6 $1 stamps that we didn't really want, instead of a $5 stamp that we came to the store for in the first place. Or is that just me?

TOTALLY!
Think about that Target Dollar Spot and Dollar Stores -- I can't tell you how many times I've gone there with the intend to spend $2 and come out with $20 of stuff I didn't need, but bought because "it was only a dollar"!!
We ARE suckers!

Dena, I knew I wasn't alone! LOL! You should've seen me at the Michaels dollar bin, buying all these little notepads and magnets. Pathetic. (But they're SO cute and they all match! )

Oh yes those dollar bins at Michaels gets me all the time!!! My MIL and DH crack up at me and I at them because I am a "if it is a dollar, I MUST get 20 of them" so I will get like 10-20 of those little notebook/notepads in those bins. They go to the store and are like "if it is a dollar, I must get ONE." LOL.

My MIL comes out of those stores with like ONE of things and I come out with 20. I have a bureau full but am always ready on the fly to put together a gift bag at the last minute -

Loss Leaders....they get you into the store with something really low-cost...and you spend a bunch more on other stuff! But I'm the one who complains about $3.00 for a gallon of gas and will pay $2.00 for 12 ounces of water!

Even worse is when they are trying to unload the Dollar bins to make room for the new stuff and then they mark it down to like 50 or 25 cents!!!
Sometimes I have to just walk on by and not even let myself look!

I want everything to be a dollar...THEN...you can have all the stamps you want, you can have all the ink you want, you can have all the paper you want and you can have all the chocolate you want. You can have anything you want!

Do I sound like a Disney commercial yet?

I would have to add an addition to the house if stamps were $1 and admit this was an addiction.
