The really sad part is I haven't even used over half of the sets yet! I just like knowing they're there if I ever *need* them ; )
I have alot of sets like that. As long as I have room, I'll keep all of them.

Is this the set you didn't know the name of? It's called Winter is Calling. If not let us know and we'll try to help you figure out the name of it.
I dont have names but I have never parted with any phrased stamps and anything penny black Also have kept ALL male related stamps as they are the hardest to find!
Considering I'm in the middle of a major re-organization and am now REALLY seeing everything I have in one place (before stuff was all over the place in different rooms due to not having enough space in one area for everything), I'll have to make a determination at a later date. Stamps and sets that I think right now I'd never part with (I have quite a collection from tons of manufacturers and seldom get rid of anything) may not make the cut after I see just how much I have. I have some similar themes but different style of stamps and may have to be ruthless. If I unmounted everything then I'd have room for everything, but I'm not to that point yet (plus just too lazy to have to go to all that work).
Interesting to see what people won't get rid of. The one thing I can say (since I haven't really ever gotten rid of much yet) is that my regret is more of what I didn't get at the time. Some stamps and sets I love now, I didn't have a need for at the time so didn't purchase. But life circumstances change and now I have a need for certain designs but can't find current versions that I like and would use but don't want to pay the high prices for some of the older retired stamps.

I think the one you're looking for is this: Winter Play Index Card by galleryindex at Splitcoaststampers
It was called Winter Play and was in the 2001-2002 winter mini as a hostess appreciation set. I was going through my old catalogs as part of my reorganization and saw it. Always liked that set.
Oh so many I have that I just can't part with....
what comes to mind is:
bareback
noble deer
lovely as a tree
bow wow
meow meow
Wolf
Lighthouse sets
Heartfelt thanks

All of my Stamps of Life sets
All of my PTI sets
All of my SweetNSassy sets
OK, really, I hope to never get rid of another stamp set again! I'll reorganize and MAKE it all fit, LOL!!!!
The reality is I have over 200 SU sets and at least 500 other stamps from PTI, Gina K, Stampinbella, Hero Arts, House Mouse and too many others to name. I have only 2 sets in my life. But I will list my top favorites that I love the most:
Lovely as a Tree
Roses in Winter
Heartfelt Thanks
Sincere Salutations
All Year Cheer (All three)
Upsy Daisy
Noble Deer
Girl Power
Classic Cars
Dreams and Dragons
Backgrounds:
Canvas
Print pattern
French Script (Don't like En Francais as much. Not sure why)
I'm away from home right now (and posting from my phone) so this is really off the top of my head. I too keep 99 percent of my sets simply bc I own them now so they are 'free' to me and I don't want any regrets. But my never ever part with sets are:
Button Bear (this dates me)
Botanicals
the set with the pen and ink
the set with the old keys
roses in Winter
LAAT
DD Branch
the Raggedy Ann and Andy set (my sisters favorite)
There are probably more, but that's my first take!
