I went into Hallmark- I don't know why!!!!!!!!!
 

Since I am a lapsed Catholic I need some confession time here... it's been a long time since my last confession...

I walked in just looking to see what ornaments where on clearance- I swear! - then I decided to look at the cards just for kicks. Shocking, I know. It was so frightening I almost had to sit down, but I was too scared to sit down. All those 1D bland-colored, lifeless, impersonal cards! What a waste of beautiful paper and potential. Why do people buy those things- WHY!? I might need to go into therapy.

There is one thing I love Hallmark cards for..... ideas for sentiments inside my cards! I keep my favourites from the ones that I get from others, just in case I need something later on

say 4 Hail Marys and 2 Our Fathers...

i go in Hallmark all the time, it's inspirational, encouraging and fun!

Yes, I always say Hallmark wishes it could make such nice cards. They probably look on SCS for ideas, hehe

lol! great minds think alike! ah i love a good chuckle!

The thing that always shocks me most when I go into card shops is the PRICE!

Naturally, buying a dozen stamp sets, countless ink pads and a huge stack of card is a lot cheaper. :rolleyes: :mrgreen:

Sometimes if I have a pen and paper with me, I write down some of the sentiments. I can print them out at home and use them on the insides of my cards.

Now I need to say my Hail Mary's and Our Father's for my thieving ways!
