Okay, I'm making this tri-fold frame for my friend whose house my boys and I are going to for Thanksgiving tomorrow. I can't decide what to do at the top. I thought about the the love in wonderful words (it's for her family pictures but I don't know...help!!!

Carebear530 11-24-2004 06:27 PM

Frame

What about something simple like 'family memories' or 'special moments'?

Jovi 11-24-2004 06:28 PM

Maybe some ribbon along with the words!

MichelleY 11-24-2004 06:32 PM

What about 'love' over the center frame and more flowers and butterflys over the other two. Or use different fonts and stamp other meaningful words such as 'brothers', 'silly', 'makes me smile', or words that will fit with the boys personalities.

Do you have any alphabet sets? how about stamping 3 different words on each frame, such as:

Live, Love, Laugh
Family, Friends, Fun
Celebrate, Good, Times
Joy, Peace, Love

It is a beautiful gift!!

mom2kjs 11-24-2004 06:48 PM

How about...

Live Well

Laugh Often

Love Much

Each set of words on a different panel? Also, what color do you think? How about Lavendar Lace? I'm also thinking of sponging on some pink and lavender colors...my friends favs.

Exactly what I was going to suggest!

The frames with multiple words are really popular right now. I like the ideas below:

It looks great!

How did you color in the images?

momil5000 11-24-2004 08:39 PM

A beautiful heartfelt gift...she will feel so proud when she receives it. You did a nice job. Congrats!

janz 11-25-2004 07:19 AM

I used Pure Color Pencils to color on the frame. I also sponged pink, blue, and lavender so it wouldn't be so stark white.

Thanks for the compliments! I can't wait to give it to her!

Happy Thanksgiving!

scdecker 11-25-2004 07:47 AM

It turned out beautifull! Would you like to come to my house for Thanksgiving dinner next yer?

Sereikastamper 11-25-2004 08:33 AM

I saw this and thought it would be wonderful to do for my MIL...too bad we don't carry them anymore

qcbetty 11-25-2004 08:51 AM

That is just gorgeous! I love that set from Regionals.....I just did a crayon resist with it at my workshop last weekend and it went over very well indeed!
That frame is beautiful. Lucky friend!

JKinAK 11-25-2004 10:16 AM

Does anyone know where this frame can be found since SU! no longer sells them?

And while we are on the subect of frames, has anyone seen the license plate frames that say "Ask me about Stampin' Up!"? I just found one at ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...149519795&rd=1

If I was a demo I would consider getting one of these!

grace 11-25-2004 01:19 PM

Just beautiful...I agree with the others about choosing words or a combo or words and more images. The stampers here are amazing with all the ideas!

Henrysmom 11-25-2004 05:07 PM

OK, I know this is off topic, but did you win an award or something?

mom2kjs 11-25-2004 05:16 PM

Win an award? What do you mean?

grace 11-25-2004 06:30 PM

Glad to hear it turned out terrific! Guess we can't get an upload?

mom2kjs 11-25-2004 06:49 PM

Thanks so much...you know...I have to tell you that this is the first time that I've made something that started out with my own original thought. The stamp set and basic layout I came up with on my own. I always tell everyone I never have an original thought of my own but I guess I can't say that anymore, huh? Thanks, everyone, for your help in finishing it off!
