i need some ideas for this card..please!
 

Hello ladies. Well, I am trying to make my sons first birthday invitations, and i am hitting a brick wall. I think the card is a little boring and it needs something. I would love an ideas. Thanks for anything.

You are right, it needs just a little something but it is also very cute!!! Great job! How about writing in the details of the party on the clouds -- date, time, location, etc.? Also, do you have the Loads of Love accessories? You could put the little guy in the front seat?

What about adding the number "1" on the side of the plane.

Very cute! I actually think it's OK as is, but maybe just stagger the clouds a bit more (rather than grouped along the edge).

What about stamping "Your Invited" in the lower right corner of thr card in yellow to match the yellow card-stcock that you used. I think your invitation is adorable.

Do you have the white gel pen? You could add some detail lines to the plane, or do a faux stitch around the edge - something like that.

I like the idea of adding words to the clouds too. If you have the Karen Foster snap stamps, they would be perfect - you could make up any words (like "fun", "party", etc.).

Another thought would be to stamp the blue with a subtle background stamp like canvas or linen. I would stamp with versamark or the same ink as the cardstock so that it is barely noticable.

I think it's adorable. What about cutting out a cloud or two from another piece of paper to stick on it so the card has dimension? That whay it will really look like the plane is flying in the clouds.

I agree with one of the above that it needs to have invitation or your are invited somewhere on it. Then the details inside.

It's very cute. How about putting a brad in the center of the propellar and some ribbon trailing from the edge of the tag? I also like the idea of adding dimension by cutting out some clouds - maybe with words from EFP - and putting them on top.

I like the idea of the number 1 on the airplane and also adding dimention to the clouds to make it look like the plane is flying! It looks great other wise!!!

I think a fiber tied to the top of the card would add a lot! Love some of the other suggestions too.

Ooooo! You could also cut the propeller out entirely and attach it with a brad so it can spin! :)

i was gonna cut out clouds, but that is just to much work. but the propellar spins and i put the ribbon on there- thanks!
i am not sure if i will keep the 'one', but i will decide when i finish them all.

I think it's adorable! The only thing I can think of adding is a little sponging around the edges but I think it's great just the way it is!

here is the problem....i loved the 1 on the plane too, but i don't have any stamp sets with the number 1.

When all else fails use the computer or your own handwriting...cute card!
