Default Julie Nutting Anyone?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else here is a fan of Julie Nutting? I have her doll stamps and stencils and both of her books and love them. Creating art dolls is a lot of fun! I uploaded a tag I made tonight to my gallery if anyone is interested.

"Back in the day" I had ambitions to be a fashion designer and/or illustrator, so I really, really like Julie's things. So far I only have one stamp (Lorenna) and haven't been able to play yet, as we're moving across the country soon and ALL of my stuff is packed! I like your tag, though, and thanks for sharing!

Love your tag! Yes, I have around 7 or 8 (really have lost count) of her stamps. If you look in my gallery, I have several cards, that I have made using them.

I have several and enjoy making tags with them. I have used them in several projects lately.

I have been making them like crazy. I try to portray the recipient of the tag and they have been a big hit. I hope the link below goes to my gallery.

I only have a couple and really like them but it's not a style that I can give to a lot of people in my circle. I really enjoy making them and wish I had a use for more.

Debbie your tags are gorgeous, I love the stamps but bought the stamp and die cut, it's quite big, I've made a couple but not done anything with them yet, mainly because of the size, are the stamps smaller? I have them on my wish list!!

Jan, the earlier stamps are about 7.5" tall. Julie's newer stamps with the dies are smaller.

I just received an e-mail which may be of interest to anyone who lives in the SE Wisconsin area. The Scrapbook Store located in Greenfield tomorrow and Saturday will have Julie Nutting in store. There will be classes and a book signing tomorrow in the afternoon. Just relaying the info I case anyone may be interested.

I remember seeing these once in a store and thinking... they are HUGE (and I tend to like big stamps)
so, that is cool to see you can get them in smaller sizes now, tfs!

She was just here for a show and classes at my LSS and the samples were awesome, over the top.

You are bad, bad, BAD people! I had never heard of Julie Nutting until I clicked on this thread. Now I have a very long wishlist...

Debbie, your tags are gorgeous eye-candy.
