Default ??? about storing Red Rubber Cling stamps

Since I'm not getting on responses on the other thread...I thought that I would ask here....

I just finished switching over storage for my clear stamps and I am wondering if I can do the same for my red rubber cling stamps. What I did was to take the index set and laminate it and then attach the stamps to the laminate. Then, another piece of laminate over the stamps and into a 6 x 8 baggie.

My question is: do I need to cover the red rubber cling stamps with another sheet of laminate so that the rubber doesn't touch the plastic baggie. Or, should the rubber be good against the baggie?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

I think people may be wary of giving a definitive answer, as we don't know what material the baggie is made from. Some plastics are fine against stamps, others not so good. Personally, I store my red rubber u/m's on laminated sheets, with a stamped set of images in a document pocket in front of it, and so far (10-15 years)- no harm has come to them.

I have a mess of cling rubber stamps that are stuck to laminated sheets and then put into ziploc bags; they've been in there for over a year with no ill effects.

My normal storage has them stored on laminated sheets in a box with dividers made from cardstock - the ones in the bags need a new box set up and I haven't gotten around to it. I can tell you that I can't tell any difference between the sets in the cardstock dividers and the ones in the ziploc bags.

I actually did answer on the other thread, but it was after you posted the question here
If the baggie is polyester, you should be fine. If not, the other sheet of laminate as a buffer might not be a bad idea...
