Question I need ideas!

Help! I have been asked to make invites for a 2 year olds birthday...a pumpkin party...any ideas? I will have to make quite a few so I would like it be somewhat simple...I tried some of my own ideas this morning but I just can't seem to come with anything that I am happy with....
TIA!

I have Fall fun, misc fall stamps (leaves, pumpkins)...I wish I had a scarecrow...that might do the job...but I dont! I think the thing that is throwing me off is...she asked for kids birthday party invites...well, the birthday kids are two so the invites are really for the parents! I keep thinking jack-o-lanterns but is that too scary for a 2 year olds party invite? Maybe I am just over thinking this!! I don't really know the person that is requesting them or if she will even purchase any (I'm making a sample first) so, I don't want to keep asking too many questions - she was very vague when she made the request and I had to pull out the fact that they are two and having a pumpkin party!

I am in Eastern CT. Do you happen to have Fall for All. Are you close to E. CT?

no, I don't! An idea just popped into my head...I'll see if it works...I may just go with a jack-o-lantern...if she likes it fine, if she doesn't, oh well. The fair I did this week wiped me out...I'm really just looking forward to doing things for myself for a while!!!! I'm actually in Western CT, fairfield county area...

If it helps my ds just turned 3 and he's not afraid of jack-o-lanterns. He thinks they're cool and yells "pumpkin" when he sees them. IMHO a jack-o would be cool for a kid. HTH

The simplest cards can be fun. You could just focus on the face; orange card; triangles for eyes and nose; hand drawn mouth or alternating triangles up/down for the mouth. The face would be the front of the card. I've let the kids do the faces and they look great.
