I am making my wish list. Do you all purchase your hemp twine on pg. 235 of the catalog from SU! or do you usually buy somewhere else? Is this a highly used item in your creations?
I have purchased from the catalog, but also have purchased the same colors elsewhere and they are pretty much the same. But I really LOVE the SU Natural Hemp Twine. It's the best I've found so far. Can't remember where I purchased the other, but I also haven't used it as much as the natural.

I buy both.. I use the SU for when i do workshops/swaps, but the store brand for when i do personal cards/scrapbook pages.. They are just a like. Hard to tell the difference sometimes.

~Shhh.. Luckily, my husband thinks I only have 'a few' stamp sets...
I love the SU natural hemp. I have bought some else where and didn't like it as much. The SU hemp also is not that much more than the other stuff I bought.
I have purchased the Hemp through both StampinUp and different craft stores. I like StampinUps better as it isn't as "thready" as it seems to be a tighter weave - easier to put through eyelets.

i have found the same thing! but i will buy from another for my own use.
I like SU's natural much better than others. As someone else put it, it is tighter woven and easier to deal with. I always stick it through eyelets and knot. I also will put a dap of CE on the knot when making a bow with it, since it has tendencies to pull apart. I also use the red and green when making Xmas cards.
