I'm not sure if I like them or not. I used them on a 6x6 I'm doing, but I used crystal effects to coat them, I hope it will keep them from rusting or changing colors.

Julie,
what department are they in??? I have looked and maybe just don't see them.
Look in the office supplies section.
Also, if you still can't find them, and are not lazy as I am, you can color the staples yourself by using Staz-On inks or Sharpie Markers. Just leave them in brick form as they come, and apply the color to them and allow to dry. You don't need to tint the sides, as frankly, those get sunk into the paper surface and disappear underneath. So, only the top needs to be coated with color.
Have I tried it yet? Nope. I buy 'em tinted because I'm too lazy.

I know when I first saw them, I didn't like the look, but then I tried using them and I really have changed my mind in a big way!
I love now that I can use up all the little pieces of ribbon that I would have gone to the trash can, can now be added to a card! It's just part of that Shabby Look that's sooooo IN!
I absolutely LOVE staples. I think that it is a great & easy way to attach ribbon (& you don't have to use very much of your ribbon!). It seems that not everyone likes the look....My Mom (I love her to death, really) just doesn't "get" the stapled look and couldn't believe that it is the "style". She was actually trying to pluck the staples out of the Thank you card that my dd gave her (see my gallery-cool cat Thank you). I couldn't believe it....goes back to the earlier post about unappreciated cards/gifts...Made me decide that I won't give her anymore stapled cards (or my in-laws)...

What a good idea! I have seen the colored ones at Michaels by Making Memories, but I don't need the stapler that comes with the set. :?
I haven't decided if I really like the staple trend or not. I agree that they look good on the match books, but I'm still out on the cards. I recently joined a swap for cards that used staples just to see how other people are using them. My card turned out okay, but I wasn't thrilled with the look. :(
