Default Whirly Twirly

Hi Everyone!

I am just in love with this wheel (even though I don't own it yet)... I have a couple of questions.

If I buy the ink refills (the whole set of colors) can I use the refill to put on the cartridge for my wheel?

If not, what colors would you get - top 5...

Can I reuse a cartridge with different colors? Or should I have 1 cartridge/color?

Thank you for your help. I'm working on my order for March!!

Sara

You can't reuse a cartridge with different colors, so yes, 1 cartridge per color. I think the top five colors for me would be black, versamark (buy an empty cartridge and fill with versamark refill), craft white, mellow moss, and basic brown. I picked these colors because they are the ones I would start with if you could only have five. Good luck!

Yes, you can use the ink pad refills to refill the wheel cartridges.

No, you should have one cartridge per color.

Hope this helps.

You can only have one color per cartridge and you can't add the ink directly to the wheel...

My favorite colors for the cartridges

Basic Black
Real Red - think Christmas, love and Valentines Day
Creamy Caramel - I happen to love this color
Brilliant Blue

As for which colors you should use she what colors you use most often in making cards and go with those colors - if you use a lot of Pink get a pink one, a lot of greens get a green one...

Another thing to is you can roll it across a full sized ink pad and use it. when I am just doing card fronts and need a color that i don't have a cartridge for but have the full-sized pad I cut my cards to size and then ink up the roller on a full sized pad and roll away...this only works well on a piece of paper where the wheel would go around once.

I love the Whirly Twirly wheel...heck I love all wheels....

my favorite right now is hot to dot...
