Default I did some fake stitching on a card!!

Hey there everyone,

Just thought I would share this little tip with you all - some may already know it.

Last night I made a shabby chic card and wanted to do a small line of stitching. Problem was it was quite late and I didnt feel like dragging out the sewing machine.

So I drew the faintest of lines with a lead pencil and pin pricked holes all the way along as would happen if you sewed it with a SM.

If you want to check out what I mean - go to my gallery - stamper272001 and look for the shabby chic card and the stitching along the top of the card.

It was so convincing that my DH asked what time I got the machine out to do that - cause he was fast asleep! lol

Just wanted to share that little tip with you all!

Love Aussie Karen

The stitching looks great...I'll have to try that (sure would be easier than getting the machine out every time!).

Thanks for the great tip! I love the look of stitching, but I'm too darn lazy to lug out the sewing maching! I'll be giving this a try!
