This has probably been discussed....but I was wondering what it says on the French Script background stamp. I think it's very pretty....but I don't know French, and I've been curious.
I used to speak French (it's been awhile). I don't own the set though and what is showing in the catty doesn't make a lot of sense. It does seem to be about nature though and mentions the horizon, spring, smells, earth we travel on, but I could be wrong since I don't have those words in context.

The words on the stamp are taken from a French poem by Victor Hugo, “Since Flowering May.? We are unable to print the English translation in its entirety because of possible copyright infringement of the translation, but you can get a sense of the mood from a few of the lines, printed below: “Since flowering May calls us from the meadows, come! . . . and let the radiance of all nature bring out, like a double blossoming flower, the beauty on your brow and the love in your heart."
That's a good question. One time I was looking at a rubber stamp website and they had a Korean stamp. I called my hubby over with excitement to see a stamp with Korean on it and asked what it meant, and he said "nothing good, it talks about death." and had a little bit of foul language. So I alerted the store, they apologized and took it away.
