Default Where do you find "Boy" stamps?

I have searched the net looking for great boy stamp sets. I have three boys who aren't getting younger ( 11, 8, 6) and the cutsie sets I see ( very few of those at that) aren't cutting it anymore.

My oldest boy is a boy scout as are three of my nephews (14,12, and I would really like to do some scrap books for them that include stamping, but I am coming up rather short handed.

Does anyone have a ny ideas for me?

Dawn

Ps at this point I am thinking of going completely clear, or at least unmounted. I got some clear PTI sets about a month ago and I am loving how I can see what/where I am stamping!

Dawn, I joined a SWAP on here just for boy scouts pages (look on the SWAP forum for more information)! It was the very first swap I ever did and I am so pleased with all the beautiful pages I received! (I actually did a "page kit" swap, where you got the pieces to do a two page spread and then assembled it yourself.) Uggento hosted it (she's a terrific person!) I am lucky enough to own the SU boy scout stamp set and made my pages with it. I made 6 plus 1 for the hostess and plus another 1 for me! I received 6 terrific and all different two page (12 X 12) spread layouts with all kinds of boy scout scenes (some were camping, blue and gold banquet, pinewood derby, raingutter regata, general boy pages, etc.!) This was a great way for me to get more boy stuff as I live in a town with only one small craft store, I highly recommend it!

One place to look is on Addicted to Rubber Stamps. Put the word boy into the search box. Then after a kajillion items come up, there is a button where you can choose a "product type." Scroll way down to rubber stamps. You'll still get quite a few with toddler stuff, but some will be for bigger boys.

If your boys are into sports, type the word soccer or basketball or football into the search box.

I was just thinking of this today. I would really like to know if there is anywhere that has a boy scout type set. I know about the retired SU! one but it goes for a bundle on the bay. :0(

The website scrapyourtrip.com has alot of scout stuff. girl and boy both. no stamp sets but great embellishments. heck they have anything you could possibly be looking for in alot of categories. I order from her all the time and have always been pleased, plus they have alot of stuff on sale right now. Good Luck

Default BOys

I am having the same problem as I begin to assemble my son's scrapbook for Boy Scouts. he is working on his Eagle project, so it won't be long. I have tons of stuff when he was a cub scout, but not much as he's gotten older (he's 14)
SU had a great set way back, called On The Go, with climber, hiker, biker, but I haven't seen it for sale or on the bay in ages.
I'll be watching this thread for inspiration...

That's an understatement and is also the reason I started this thread. Sure wish I would have known a few years ago that DH would start a BS troop- I would have bought the set for future use!

I don't know about boy scout stamps, but these are my favorite boy sets. They have some really cool images that aren't so "cutsie."

Here is a card I did using the Inque Boutique stamps

Sometimes if I'm at a loss for boyish stamps, I'll use DP for most of the card. Recently I made a card for a 10 year old boy using camouflage paper, since he is into that. The only stamp I used was a sentiment (It's your day!).

I know this isn't boyscout related, but SU just released a set that is geared for teenage boys... its called "So Cool" and reminds me of stickers you might see on boys skateboards. It might work for your scrapbooks if your boys are into skateboarding. HTH!
