I already ordered the Today's Special. I was watching early this morning and couldn't resist the Spring kit. I probably could have gotten all of the punches from Michael's with coupons for less money, but they never seem to have the ones I'm looking for. And I don't know if the Punch Around the Page set will be available in the stores. Anyway, I treated myself because - hey - "it's a good thing." :)

I didn't know that Martha has her own Cricket Cake...she is taking over the world!

I did order stuff online, and was really happy when the directtv got fixed right before the 3pm CST show!

MS Crafts will be on again at 9pm eastern time. I am getting all ready to watch. I got a bunch of the summer release punch around the page punches today. They are goin on clearance at Michael's, butdon't seem to be marked on sale. I just had them check the prices & used coupons on the remaining one's I didn't have. The sale corners are $6.99 & the sale borders are $7.99. I have been wanting five of the sets that came out as summer releases. It took me a long time to get htem all, but I completed the sets today. I'm looking forward to seeing the HSN items. JIL

I watched late last night, and again this morning and afternoon. I tried, I really tried to be strong and step away from the TV.:)

Sigh, I was not successful. I finally caved and got the Todays Special punch set and a glitter/foil embossing set.

And my PaperTrey goodies arrived today, too. I am wallowing in papercraft happiness.

For those that missed it check HSN's site.....there were lots more stuff. Ihope it is still lthere. She has nice things that I love but she is one cold ice pick.....LOL one of my friends met her years ago cooking and she said this about her and it has always stayed with me. All the craft people I have ever known are so warm and sharing....she is smart and knows how to create...

I watched several of the shows and recorded some as well. I got a chuckle when she asked that guy if the "heat gun was all heated up!".. ha ha.. she looked uncomfortable at times using/talking about the product. I really liked the one border punch, but didn't order because I either had the other punches or didn't care for them.. but I looked for the one at Michael's today, they didn't have it.. guess I'll keep watching.

Have fun ladies with all your new goodies.

I recorded the 4PM Eastern show but I haven't watched it yet.

I was watching some of the HSN product videos and I'm wondering if anyone has a tutorial or link to instructions to make the acordian fold flowers they have displayed all over that set with Alex.

I am doing a baby shower next week and I would LOVE to make those pendant looking circle thingies. lol

Anyone have any info?

PERFECT!!! I must have been having a blonde moment or something...I couldn't think of how the wording should be in a search for it. LOL

Thanks a million!

Alex, Martha's sidekick on the show, made the fan fold flower during one of the presentations. He used the deep cut border punch, but any borer punch will work. He punched a total of 4 separate sheets. He then used the score board and scored at the valley area between each separate "flower". He then scored at the tip of each "flower". The score lines were equally apart. Once he finished with the scoring on the sheet he then began to fan fold the paper. He did that for all 4 sheets. He used double stick tape to join the 4 sheets, to make one long one. He then attached the two ends together, to form a circle, all fan folded. Gather the center together, the end that does not have punched edge. He then placed it on the table in front of him and pressed the "medallion" open and flat. It just seemed to pop open and out. I'm sure he has done so many he made it look very easy. Now, if "Martha" had tried, I'm sure we would have been amused. She really was all thumbs and fumbled her way through the demonstrations. Alex was wonderful, in his ability to use the tools and in his ability to try to help Martha without making it so noticeable. I hope you can understand these directions.....never tried to write directions before......good luck. I think they would be adorable to use at a baby shower.

I agree. I loved most of the products they had on, but I could have done without her. She was one of the worst presenters they had, from using the wrong terminology (cutters instead of punches, rubber stamps instead of acrylic stamps), to being all thumbs, to being downright rude at times. When the host was trying to describe what was included in the bundle of punches, Martha said, "No, I'm trying to make this," and made Alex focus all of his attention on her. You can tell that she is a very dominating and self-centered person, but her staff creates the most gorgeous things. Alex was wonderful and seemed to be able to put up with her quite well. He must be used to it.

The medallions he made are pretty easy. I made some yesterday while watching the presentation. I'll be putting a video on my blog, hopefully this week. Joybe's directions were great. That's how I do it too.

LOL, that is exactly what I bought! And my SU! order came today....

Also, I loved when Martha loudly asked if anyone was buying the product they were showing....
