Default Stamp on Golf Balls

Is there a way to stamp on Golf balls? Can I use SU inks & alphabets or do I need a special kind of ink?
I've found a couple of things online that will do it but was looking for something more versatile so I can stamp many different monograms on golf balls.

That's a cute idea! I'd try using StazOn ink...I don't think anything else will work. Good luck and post some pics!

I agree. I think the only thing to use is Staz On. Also, when stamping on a bumpy round thing, it might be easier to put the stamp on the table and roll the ball over it. This sounds hard! I'd love to see a picture also, as my inlaws are big golfers!

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I think I am going to try it with Staz On and see how it works. I'll post some pictures as soon as I try it.

I tried this tonight with Staz-On and my Making Memories magnetic alphabet stamps (laid them flat on the table) and it didn't really transfer. Tried it with some Making Memories paint and it did tranfer, but I had way too much pain on the letters and it smudged.

Has anyone ever tried this and had success?

Someone asked me if I could stamp on a golf ball for their baby's birth announcement... otherwise, does anyone have any other ideas? Rub-ons would be too time consuming, I think...I could only think of making a tag to tie around the tee.

Anyone ideas would be most appreciated.

Hi!

I'm fairly new at all of this stamping stuff but, was wondering if you stamped an image with Staz-on onto a flat stamp that has no image (like the mirror image rubber stamp sold at craft stores) and then rolled the ball across it, it should pick up the image - I'm unsure of letters as this would probably mirror image them but it might work on images. Again I don't know if this would work but I guess it is worth a try.

I don't know for sure, but I've had problems with StazOn drying really fast! I think the smaller the image the better, though.

How about painting golf tees blue or pink and making match book type golf tee holders. Or put the golf ball in a cello bag with a topper.
