Default Cardstock storage

Here is how I store my cardstock. These are plastic magazine files ($1.38 at WalMart). I have one for each color family, and now just purchased another for my white cardstock, since my bold brights should be here shortly. I took the color palates from an old catalogue and taped them on the front of each file. I found this works great for me to "check" my cardstock color when documenting the recipe, especially when usuing scraps.

Default Thanks!

Thanks for posting the note and the picture. I just purchased one of the Cropper Hopper Vertical Storage Sets but didn't know what to do with the letter size of my cardstock. I had thought about this and now that I saw it in the works, I'm going to Wal-Mart next week. It is snowing here in the Charlotte, NC area!

Thanks!
Renee

Looks like I need to go to WM tonight. I had planned on doing hanging files, but I don't really need a whole folder for some colors. TFS!

What a great idea! Does your paper get dusty? I am always worried about that. I need a new way to store my paper. Its in a file crate now.

My paper is stored like that too. But once I started getting a pack of paper in each color, only half a color family fit into each magazine file. They are arranged alphabetically.

The best thing is (I thought of this when someone asked about dust) is that I got them all before SU! switched to shrink wrap. Remember when the plastic was looser? Well, I cut the tops off each one so I can get the paper out easily, and also, I put a label on the upper, outer corner, with the name of the color! Works great. I've had to tape the top corners of some of my plastic bags as they've aged, though!

Default Cardstock Storage

I have a couple of heavy duty plastic milk crates. Hanging file folders fit in there really well. I have a file folder for each color and that works very well. Then I have one for all my old catalogs and how to's. Use it up fast enough and it won't get dusty. Ha Ha
