Default How do you store your powders?

I need to get a handle on all these little jars! How do you store your embossing powders, etc.?

I store mine upside down (so I can see the colors) in a Sterilite 3 drawer thingy. The largest ones don't fit so I have them on their sides. I can see all the colors and they are nicely stored out of the way, but easy to get to when I need them

I pretty much do the same thing - I got a tiny 2 drawer one and have my EP's and glitter upside down in the top drawer.

I store mine in a fancy little spice rack that sits on the dresser in my stamp?scrap room.

I dump the EP into the plastic boxes the background stamps come in and write the color on the side and top, then stack 'em up. Takes up a bit more storage space, but so worth it. The boxes are great because I can hold the project over the box, apply the EP to it, then dump it right back in the box...I don't need an extra sheet of clean paper or embossing tray, and I don't worry about my EP getting contaminated w/ fuzz, other EP's, or strange bits and pieces of something that may have been on that paper.

I buy inexpensive, shallow, square food storage containers to store my powders in. They work great because there's never any mess when you're working with them. I either dip the piece of CS in it or hold the piece over the container and apply the powder with a tiny spoon, knock the excess off into the container, and it's done!

I keep mine in the jars with little silica gel packets (out of the box when you buy new shoes) inside each one. I used to put them in bigger containers but found out they not only got lumpy but it wasn't long before it didn't work well, chipped off, etc. Anyway I put my little jars stacked on a spice turn table on a shelf. I just spin to find the right one.

I finally broke down and bought plastic art bins so I can see them upside down (the color) or the name of the Embossing Powder on the other, and easier to stack, store and find them quickly.

But it gave me some idea of how many little jars I've got - good grief -hundreds.
