If I take the time to comment at all, your card made an impression on me! And some cards I don't come across till months after they were first posted. So I say, if the words you read are positive, be thankful! I know I will be when I finally have the time to walk through the upload process.
Yeah when will you be uploading??????????????????

I enjoy receiving any comment at all. The fact that someone thought my card was worth pausing on at all and taking time to put a note is the greatest compliment in the first place. I don't place any greater worth on a longer comment, or a more specific comment. I have left a wide variety of comments ... some quite specific, some very brief and repetitive. I would hope that they are all taken in the spirit of which they were intended ... to give that person a pat on the back and an affirmation that their talent is appreciated. Its a gift - and ought be accepted with graciousness. Why deprive myself of that warm feeling of "hey, they liked it!" just because its not how I would like it worded? Then I'M the one missing out!

There are some times where I just plain like a card and can't explain why. That's when they get the nice card, beautiful, and nice work comments from me.

There are so many cards uploaded every day I figure any comments are good comments. After all it does take time to comment to click the thumbnail wait for it to load type in your response and then click back three times or use the little pull down thingy. I usually use multiple tabs in firefox with the cards at 90 per page in order to get to view everything. So if you are someone that is discouraged don't give up!

Sometimes it baffles me as to what cards are popular because they don't appeal to me at all. I think that some of what gets comments depends upon content. I've seen some beautiful asian cards on here with very few comments. Not because they aren't good but perhaps because they don't fit most individuals tastes. In my humble opinion in the end the most important thing is that the final recipient of the card enjoys it and feels loved because I took the time to make it for them. I'm lucky because I have a few people I send cards to that truly enjoy them. That reminds me I should send a couple off to them.
I completely agree with you here. Sorry ladies, there is no possible way I can personalize my comments each time. I do the best I can with comments. Personally, I like when people view my cards and a generic comment is perfectly fine with me. I apologize in advance if I leave a simple comment on one of your cards.

I like pretty much any comment left for me because I think the person liked it enough to at least leave a comment. The detailed ones help for future ideas, the short ones, let me know they liked it. I try to write what caught my eye when I leave comments, but if short on time, I will leave a quick comment.

I do have to admit, I check to see if I have any comments on new uploads, before I check anything else. It helps me to know that people are looking and makes me pleased as punch when they take the time to make a comment. Everyone likes to feel validated.

On the color challenges, (like this week's with the marigold, caribbean blue, and cranberry crisp especially), I like to tell them I like the combo or how they used it. I can see that it is from the challenge, but it's how people put them together that make the difference in how it pops. For some reason, this week's challenge is really really striking my fancy and how people are using it, is just fabulous.
