Default How do you mount your alphabet stamp sets?

I just sat down to mount my first alphabet sets and was wondering how everyone else mounts their set. Do you do one letter at a time or do you trim them all then go back and put them on your blocks? Also, when you are trimming the rubber how close do you get?
TIA

I trim mine all first, then mount on the blocks. I trim mine pretty close, particularly now that SU! made the foam a little thinner so it doesn't rock as much. I mount on the lower left side of the block rather than the center. That's the great thing about mounting your own stamps - you can find what works for you!

Thanks for sharing. I think it would be easier to put the lower case closer to the edge. That is a great idea. I will do that.

Definitely find what works for you, everyone has to find what works for them. I put mine the ine middle, of course I am not a straight in a row type person. I scrapbook and my titles are almost never straight as an arrow, but it doesn't bother me. Now one of my BF, she would go nuts until it was just so.
