Default How do you know when you're stamping too much?

How about when you're on a holiday weekend stamping blast and realize that BOTH of your Stampin' scrubs are so overused they're depositing more ink than they're taking off? But you keep using them anyway, just finishing the job with an extra spritz and a paper towel, because if you rinse them off in this humidity it would take two days to dry and you're not gonna wait that long to keep stamping...

OMG! And I thought I was the only one. I only have one stampin scrub though, and I've let it go for 2 weeks before. I have an old dishtowel that I had to dry my stamps off with. LOL.

I can tell when I've been stamping to much because I can no longer find the stamp I was using because it's covered up somewhere on the table or the floor! I also have to shove stuff aside just to make a flat open space! Then there is the "where did I put my cutter now?"

I have a large Stamp & Scrub and 4 paint pads! Two baby wipe holders full and a pile of terry towles!

No delay allowed! LOL

If I can just find the desk now, everything would be OK!

As far as your stampin' scrub not drying, I have a few words for you:

Hair dryers...they're not just for hair anymore.

Actually, what I usually do is put mine under the swing arm lamp on my stamping table...the heat from the lamp helps evaporate that water in one or two hours, tops.

Oooo, what a great idea! Stick it under my Ott-Lite! Yeah!

LOL about the hair dryer. Would you believe I don't own one? I have long, course, curly, very-easily-frizzed hair. Doesn't matter how many hair products I use, hair dryers make me look like Rosanna Rosanna Danna from SNL. Seriously.

Smile Stamping Too Much? NEVER?!?!

Sometimes when I go to bed at tnight and close my eyes, I start thinking about my next card. Then, there's the time that I was looking through the Crayola box for the red crayon because I wanted to try out the melted crayon technique. I couldn't find the one that said Real Red, but I did find the one that said Red. Oh, and the time that I was at Wal-Mart with my DH and his mom and I saw a pretty colored t-shirt. I told my DH that the color of the shirt was between Sage Shadow and Mellow Moss, but more on the Sage Shadow side. Yup, I'm addicted.
