I am a new demonstrator trying to find some interesting, easy, eye-catching things to demo. I just tried stamping on paint chips with classic basic black ink and it looks awful-the ink didn't dry... What type of ink do I need to use? Any other suggestions for my open house would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks! ~Lois
haven't tried it yet but have "borrowed" lots of paint chips. Maybe stazon. I did stamp with classic black on a textured paint chip and it worked just fine, haven't tried the smooth ones yet.

I just did a workshop with the paint strips and had to use stazon, the classic black just didn't look dark enough. Did heat set the stazon with the heat gun after stamping.
I have stamped on paintchips-I have 2 cards in my gallery to look at if you wish-and I have just used SU classic pads. The tree in my gallery I embossed-using classic ink and the other one just stamped. Hope this helps. I have tried black ink and have had a problem with it also? The others have been fine.
When I tried the classic black, i found that it smeared, even after a 24 our dry. When I tried the staz-on there was no smearing, and it was just the look I wanted. Good luck with it.
