Default How do you adhere...

clear buttons to projects so the adhesive doesn't show? I see patterened paper behind so many samples. My mini glue dots show through and crystal effects alters the color of my cardstock. Help!

I've always used glue dots. Maybe you're just being too hard on your artwork???
I haven't tried anything else!

I have used Crystal Effects, Diamond Glaze and Gloo (KIMemories) to affix my clear buttons and affix "stuff" to my clear buttons with great success. HTH.

I use Gem Tac by Beacon Industries. It dries clear. I also use it for creating "bubble" magnets - where you stamp an image, emboss, glue a flat glass pebble on top and a magnet below. HTH

Slice up a hot glue gun stick into teensy pieces and store in a ziplock. Stick a piece on the card and hold your embossing gun to it to melt it and press on the button. This method does anything a glue dot can do!

How in the world did you come up with that!?

Xyron. I use my Xyrons for anything that has to have clear adhesive or is difficult to apply adhesive to. I also put the spiral clips through the Xyron. If you have a 150 model (small cheap one) then that's the perfect size for buttons, sheer ribbons, spiral clips, cut out letters, etc.

Hope this helps.

Sounds like a *really* strong answer to some sticky situations.

Fabri-Tac! I use it to adhere all enbellishments. I sticks anything to anything. It's a clear glue you can get at any craft store or Walmart.

LOL, I grew up with a mom who could make anything from anything. We did not have money when I was growing up and yet she was the Martha Stewart of the neighborhood. I watched her do the impossible with little and she taught me how to look at things and find a way!

Default Just curious

Since I did my 2 questions and 1 whine yesterday because of how hot it is here in Kansas, and I received a few replys, it made my curious how hot it is where you live. Let's hear where you live and how hot it is.
