There are lots of things that don't bother me. I don't mind to post my stamp work for everyone to enjoy, I don't mind for people to CASE it as long as I get credit for it! I don't even mind if someone CASE's it and forgets my username, but says that they got it from someone on SCS. But this is the last straw.
I was emailed by a friendly member of SCS that was sent one of the ebay listings for Sincere Salutations. She was checking out the other auction by this seller and lo and behold MY cards from the Simply Scrappin' Kit were showcased in this auction.
I think that's a bit ridiculous. If you are selling the scrappin' kit, make your own darn cards to showcase. Don't steal MY image and use it on YOUR auction! This photo was taken right from this site or from my personal SU! website - the only places these photos are displayed. GRR...
my DH is an e-bay selling addict, you can e-mail the person and tell them to remove your samples, if they don't you can report them to e-bay. Someone recently did that to his listing for Magic Mesh that had 1 of my cards in the picture to show how to use Dottie Ann mesh
You can notify E-bay that they are using you images and they should put a stop to the auction.

Yes, I emailed the auctioneer and politely requested that they remove my images from the auction. I told them that the images are copyright Stampin' Up!.
I am just horrified that someone would do that. What if SU! was sent this auction and read on the photo that Susan Eubanks was the artist and think that the auction was mine?!?!
I don't understand why - if they are selling the scrappin' kit for the card making purpose - they don't make their own samples. I understand that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, but there is a huge difference between imitation and copy and paste!
- Susan
It seems that he/she just copy the image from your website, and made it her own. I don't think that the Ebay seller made the effort of duplicating the cards.
I would e-mail the Ebay seller, and if you don't hear from the person, contact Ebay..
Also, you might want to copy SU! DS in your e-mail..... a lot of websites now have it where you can't right click on a picture, and save it to their computer. It will give a copyright error message.....something else to think about.
Okay, I forwarded the auction to my Stampin' Up! SAM (Service Account Manager) and made the recommendation that they remove the option of right click and copy from my gallery. Hopefully something will be done. Thanks for all your support, guys. I am just sitting here shaking my head.

I know that my sister reported this person to SU! yesterday. This person was selling all of the SAB sets and the sincere salutations.
That is very rude!
BTW...I love your work, Susan. You do a great job!
This is really crappy but you could also take it as a compliment. I try to always look at the bright side of things. Your work is so nice. My upline is Felicia Beasley and I really enjoy your work when she shares it with us. Hopefully, your ideas to your SAM will make things change. Here is hoping that this auction will be cancelled!!
I remember these cards well; I bought this kit because of your cards and made 36 Christmas cards out of the kit to send to friends and family. I just loved your ideas & so appreciated the wonderful inspiration you gave. I'm so sorry this happened to you & I'm glad you reported this person. Kendra
I can't believe the audacity of this person. Not only going against SU! policy by selling the free set, but also stealing your samples (I wouldn't call it CASEing in this scenario).
Where do some people get off? All I can say Susan, is my grandmother's line about not everyone having the same benefit of a good upbringing you did. But immediately following it is my HS assistant principal - there is NO excuse for bad manners.
That just rots! I hope you can get it resolved satisfactorily, SOON!
I love your work (and name  ) and hope you keep sharing with us.
The person who took this image intentionally obscured your copywrite info and name on their image - I saved it to my computer and enlarged it, and you can see quite clearly that they used a blur on JUST that area before they put the photo up. Unfortunately, with people like that, even right-click protecting won't help too much. If they have the skill in Photoshop to blur your copywrite, they have the skill to take a screen shot of a webpage and crop out your image of the screen shot.
I'm really sorry this happened to you - it's not right, and it's beyond me why they didn't show a pic of what they were actually selling!
Susan,
First of all what the seller is doing is against SU! policy. One can not put a SU! image or the Stampin' Up! name on any auction.
You can keep or cards/pages yours by putting a "designed by..." on the image. I got this idea from a friend. Put it in a place where they have to cut off part of the picture to erase your name. I try to remember to do this on all of mine. To see what I'm talking about, my gallery ID is mhutch.
Sorry, That is just plain ol' RUDE in my book. And I can relate personally (although not an eBay situation)...one day I was browsing on some su galleries (not su web sites but private ones) and lo and behold I see one of MY cards that was on Stampers Showcase. No mention of my name for credit either. I WAS SO RIPPED! I know there was a SU policy change last year that said you could use images from Stampers Showcase on your SU WEB SITE...but this was an individual web site. So, I emailed SU, they replied telling me it was against policy and would contact the person to remove it. 3 days later, I get another email from SU saying they have revised the policy, and now it doesn't matter if it is an SU web site or an individual one, that it was fine either way. So, to this day, my card is still up on this persons web site...
Anyway, I am sorry for this happening to you. Especially with something as sensitive as eBay...yikes. I hope it gets resolved to your satisfaction...
looks like the aution stopped @ 6.25, even with the $4 shipping - doesn't this kit sale for $13 in the catty?? Unless she's not selling the whole/real kit - she just lost $$$.

Some people blow me away. I've used a couple of images on my website when I've copied them exactly for a stamp camp, but I've always given credit to the wonderful creater - and the only reason I've done this is because I always post my artwork here first and do not want to post "copies". I'm so sorry someone took advantage of you this way... It would be a real shame if you stopped sharing because of that!
I certainly do not agree with people doing this, however, it is extremely commonplace as walking to your mailbox to get your mail! The craft industry did research on these "right click bandits" and determined that about 40% of the time the "examples" being used were stolen from major stamping and scrapping sites. So, I am sorry it had to happen to you but it is widespread right now until more websites disable the right click function.
Just an FYI, that is a bunch of B.S. That seller is actually someone that I reported to [email protected] just this week because she just sold 2 sets of SAB sets (TWO!) plus the new free set we got as demos.
She is very aware of the copyright and now that I've seen what she did with your samples, she sinks to a new kind of low, IMHO.
BTW - be proud of your work! YOU ROCK! Hope you get this resolved to your satisfaction!
Susan,
As one of your "sidelines", I always appreciated what you share with us here at SCS and in the emails to our group. It is a shame that someone could be so low as to claim your work as your own. I am sorry that happened to you , but I am glad to see that you won't make the rest of us do without the inspiration and joy your work brings to us.
Roberta
Some people have gall to take a picture someone else took to make a profit :( I am seeing more and more people put wording over their pictures so that they can't be easily "stolen". It is a shame people do stuff like this :( :( :(
Hmmmm... makes me wonder if "this" person is a SCS??? I would most certainly hope not. :( Well, I think this card is beautiful & I can see why she wanted to use it, but it does suck she went about it in this horrible manner!!! Some people!!
Susan, I just wanted to say that I love your cards and your wonderful creative spirit...we need that in this world more than ever. Thanks for continuing to share with that rest of us!

I have very little in my gallery, and I found one of my gallery images on a private site awhile back...I think the "ick..." factor overwhelms the "I'm so flattered" factor when this kind of thing occurs.
Susan, your cards are wonderful! It's just too bad AND sad that someone isn't being too ethical right now. However, I am a firm believer in "you reap what you sow..."....Karma....."what goes around, comes around..."
a lot of websites now have it where you can't right click on a picture, and save it to their computer. It will give a copyright error message.....something else to think about.
working on it for here, too.
I would be bummed if we did that here... i like to have different ideas printed out for ideas in my craft room... i also like to give my customers ideas with stamp sets they ordered and i don't have.. i ALWAYS tell them that I did NOT make them but found them here and they always appreciate it. I understand that the E-bay copier is in the wrong and I'd be upset too, but how many are there that do that and how many do what I do... use all of our ideas for inspiration. Just my thought, I hope that we don't block the copying.
