Default How do I find a TAC demo in my area?

I would like to find a TAC demo in my area. On the TAC website, it looks like they will have the demo contact me. I don't really like that. I would like to know if there are any in my area and contact them when/if I am ready.

Does TAC have a demo locator like SU?

Thanks, Barb

They should give you a number to contact your new demo yourself, at least that's the way I have been given referrals even as recently as a week ago. You can always let me know that that's how you'd like to do....no demo looking for new customers would mind having their number and/or e-mail address given out. If you are still having problems, pm me and I'll help you find a demo near you.

Angel hugs!

I agree Dee Dee. I believe TAC would give the potential customer contact info for a demo in their area. And then they could take it upon themselves to decide if/when they contact that demo.

I contacted TAC and was sent one name. Not sure if that is because there is only one demo in my area, but that seems unlikely. I would love a list of demos to contact, not just one.

I agree. Not everyone is a "perfect fit" for what you are looking for, and I'd like a list to "interview" before committing to one particular person...

I contacted TAC over a week ago and haven't heard anything back.

I don't know if that means there are no demos in my area, or they just don't want my business?

Luckily I found a nice demo on SCS and I'll get a catalog from her- and if there are no demos in my area, my stamps from her too.

If I were a TAC demo, I'd be a bit tweaked about their referral system. I contacted the company to get a demo just over a year ago. I called her, left a message, and she never called me back.

I'm glad to have found someone new thru SCS, because TAC let me down

Hopefully the whole referral system will change when they release AngelNet/and E-commerce this fall (they're shooting for August). It will be a whole online system with the catty online, ordering online (e-commerce) etc. And demos will have their own TAC sites so I would think it'd be much easier to find someone. Not really sure what all to expect though. I just know with TAC, it'll be great! If it's not what we wanted or what we thought it would be, we demos just find a way to make it work for us anyway!

I've seen on other threads people looking for TAC demos (we call ourselves Angels) in their local areas, you may be hard pressed to find one close to you.
Let me explain, The Angel Company is a relativly new stamp company. We are only 8 yrs old. It has been one of our best kept secrets!
The company is just NOW signing up it's 3,200th Angel! Spread that out over the whole US of A and you can see there is a whole lot of room for expansion!
Whew, if you with me this far then you know what I'm gonna say next...You really should consider signing up to become an Angel yourself, then you can be the local contact! (Demo Starter kits are $150.00 retail value is over $300.00.) It's really THAT simple, even if you just want to be a hobby demo, this is a GREAT time to join us and get your WINGS!

Couldn't have said that better myself Kim! Great advice!

AND, let me add that even though TAC is signing up their 3,200th Angel, many of those angels have gone inactive. So there aren't even actually 3,200 angels!

If you're reading this, maybe YOU could fill in that gap!

If you are looking for a demo that is not in your direct area just email one on the board here...they are all top notch Angels. If you want in your direct area just let one of the Angels here know and they can put word out on the demo board to see about finding Angels in your area!

I am looking forward to the AngelNet and Angel E-Commerce programs as it will bring TAC more up to date in the technological realm!

Default Awhile back

A while back I had someone call me... TAC had given my name to them.

She ordered a Catalog from and I didn't hear from her for almost 6 months. Then she saw a stamp set that she just had to have!!!

But didn't want to have a party to get it.

I found a Very nice TAC demo that let me have it for FREE only if I gave it to my Customer for FREE. Which I did.

Which I did! She so tickled that she has been placing orders through me ever since.

I know when I signed up the Demo Referral program was up and running...I did get some hit's off of it.

but now that it is down.....I've only been hit a couple of times.

But When the Angelnet goes into affect. I am hoping that this will help us all.

I just want to clarify so no one misunderstands - you do not HAVE to have a "party" to order from TAC. You can order one set at a time through any demo. That may not be how she meant it, I'm sure. But just wanted to throw that out there in case someone reads that and wonders......

Have a great weekend y'all!

The stamp set I was talking about was a Hostess Set.
Which most of the time. You need to order a $100.00 or more in order to get it.

I knew I should have said that when I posted this message!

I have a very good friend that I got the SOTM for her. She had stated that she wanted it. But couldn't purchase much at that time.

I was placing an order anyway so I added it to mine. And she got her stamp set.

As I like to say.....You don't have to place an large order. Any order is good.
I still make 25% off what I sell. Whether I have a workshop or just a small sale.

That's why I put "That may not be how she meant it, I'm sure."

I didn't figure that's what you meant. But still.........
Glad you corrected it.

If you don't want to use one of the lovely Angel's here on SCS, call the number listed on the website- they are very helpful and friendly.
