Well, I don't get the ad in my paper and the local Mike's now refuses to give you the 40% as a one-shot deal if it doesn't come in your paper. The gal at the counter told me that too many people were taking advantage of it! You know, Michaels has such high prices on several of their items (stamps for one) that I don't see how they are losing $$. It made me a bit mad :twisted: and I refuse to try to buy the correct paper to see if the ad is in there, I have done this before, only to find it isn't!!! Sometimes you can't win for losin' huh?

I'm mad at Michael's. When I was there shopping one day, everyone in front of me had coupons so I asked where they got them as there wasn't one in my paper. They said it was in the paper, so I asked the sales girl and she said it onlly is in so many of the papers, and as I live out of town, 45 minutes away that it isn't put in those papers. When I asked at the desk for one they refused. MAKES ME MAD!!!!!
I live in apartments right now. I get lots & lots of Michael's flyers by our mailboxes. Have any of you thought of going to apartment complexes & looking in the trash next to the mailboxes. I can get at least 25 coupons each week. I do give some out at my work. Hope this helps.
I was all prepared to buy my Prismacolor watercolor pencils with my 40% off coupon and wouldn't you know they were out of ALL sizes????? Ended up buying two spools of $1 ribbon so gave my coupon to a guy in line.
I get the coupons from my neighbors (I don't receive the paper). Anyway, I just got the flyer. It only has the 40% coupon good yesterday thru Saturday. Was the 50% coupon part of the flyer or a separate one? Maybe my area doesn't have one? Is that possible?

THE MICHAELS ADD FOR THE DOLLAR DAYS HERE IN THE DALLAS/FORT WORTH AREA WAS SUPER!!!! I BOUGHT 13 ROLLS OF RIBBON FOR JUST A DOLLAR EACH---BEAUTIFUL COLORS & PATTERNS!!!!!
