I found the greatest thing for holding stampin spots. It was at Target in the 1.00 section (AND yes it was only a buck!!) It is thin clear holder that allows the spots to lay flat so that you can store the correct way and then turn it over to select the colors as you use them. Seems to be working out great!!!
Is it the document box or something else? I bought 2 of the document boxes last week...not really sure what for. Now I'm thinking spots may fit in them?

I don't know if you are a SU! demonstrator but I bought these too and I use them to put my order forms in when going to a workshop, you can also fit your mini catalogs and wish list forms, and door prize drawing slips to carry to workshops and they don't get bent.
And if you are not a demo than use it to store some of your favorite cards in or to carry paper supplies in for those cards you are working on. Just some ideas.
Thanks Jamie (with an "e") - I am a demo. When I saw those boxes I just knew I had to have them for something! Just hadn't bothered to figure out what yet! Thanks for the great ideas.
Ok, can't get a visual...and I went to Target to scope the dollar section this week already. I was bummed because I went specifically for a pill box but they changed their stuff again. Not bummed because of the change...bummed because the pill boxes were gone
Yes, those document holders are great! I went back to Target today to pick up a few more and they were gone! Never thought about putting my Stampin' Spots in them - sounds like a great idea.

We must have posted at the same time. I've never seen boxes like that before. I'll have to go out and get one! They look perfect for the spots (depending on how many fit in one).

These boxes are great! I also use them to store my scraps in. I have one for each color family and one for neutrals. Ever since I started doing that I've been using my scraps so much more.
Those document boxes look very neat. Are they like 8 1/2 X 11 size or
what? How may Stampin Spots would fit in one? I have all 4 sets & I
don't like storing them in their boxes so much either. Except their own
boxes are so nice & small. The document boxes also sound like a very
good way to store cs scraps too. I've been using gallon size ziplock bags
for greens, blues, pinks, etc. & one for neutrals, too. But I like the idea
of storing them in the boxes, too. At a buck each the possilities are very
appealing.
Thanks, Jami (without the "e") for the info. I don't have any H2-0's.
So now I'll have to do a math problem or 2 to figure out how many
spots will fit in the box. Math was NEVER my best thing & I unfortu-
nately passed that gene along to my daughter.
I bought these too - all they had actually. I have condensed my order forms, etc into one to lighten my load at workshops.
I also put all of my paper that I have cut for the workshop in them. In fact, I can organize the ink, a couple embellishments, the sample card and extra paper in them. Then I pack the stamp set and tool kit, etc in another part of my travel suitcase. It works great! Last year I bought the colored plastic envelopes with velcro, but they just didn't last long, figured these would be better.
I stamped on some of them with StazOn to show that you don't have to stamp on paper to be creative - darker colors work best.
I also put the SU window cling that you would normally put in the car windows on the inside. That way it looks like something 'official' from SU. I got lots of questions about them and people kept saying - you are so organized!!! That was before I pulled out the stuff for the last card and forgot to put in my VersaMark ink and one set of cut papers!!! We all laughed and it was a great lead in to 'see, anyone can do this and I'm not really that organized!'
Enjoy!

I don't live close to a Target and i would love to have about 10 of these. If someone finds them and wouldn't mind, I would gladly pay postage for them to be sent to me.
Thank you
Jamie(with an "E")
It's the original poster here, and yes they are the document boxes that Jami posted a picture of. Thanks.. I am at work and couldn't do it till later tonight. I think that they may hold all 48 spots!!!! I haven't tried it yet.
I also saw them on the dredded Ebay today(I think it's them atleast). Someone was selling them for 6.49 each!!!!! Can you believe that. I think I will need to go back and get a couple more.
Thank you Tigger 1968! Did you do a math problem to figure that out?
I would be pretty darn excited if the doc. box held all 48 of those cute
little spots. Sometimes it doesn't take much, does it? At least for me.
I'm kinda old. Thanks again! I probably better head over to Target &
grab a few of them. Someone else was talking about also using them
for cardstock scraps, order forms, etc. All these ideas sound pretty
good to me.
Oh my gosh!!!! I've been looking for these for 2 years!! I purchased a case with similar demensions at Jo Ann's ; the label said it was a Sticker Case. I discovered it fit rubber stamps (non SU) perfectly; they were exactly the depth of the stamp so that they didn't roll around in the case. Of course, Jo Ann's never got them in again and when I have checked their special buyer's line, the cases are "on order, but not yet shipped"...ha!
I hope you ladies don't buy these all of these wonderful containers before I get a chance to get to Target!
I purchased the document boxes too and like all the ideas previously posted. However, for my workshop projects I purchased 'project keepers' from Office Depot or Office Max ??. They are the same dimension as the ones from Target except deeper, so the stamps fit perfectly along with everything else needed for each project.
I have a bunch of these boxes and use them a lot. If you live in Southern California you can always buy them at Marukai Markets. There ia a.98$ store in Gardena and a store in Costa Mesa that is not 98 cents only. There are 2 or 3 others in So. Cal also see this website http://www.marukai.qpg.com/
I use one to store my projects in while going to stamp camps and workshops. That way when I get home I have all the pieces. I also have various forms and such in them for stamp camps so I just have to pull them out and I am ready.
Oh I also buy 9 x12 x3 ( or so, they have plenty of room for 8 1/2 x 11 paper) inch baskets there to put everything in for a project. That way I can keep organized. They are only 1.00 also at Marukai.
Thank you tigger1968 for telling us about the doucement box at Target. I bought out my Target Friday night (only about 7 boxes). And I want more!
I found they are also great storage for the "chunky" rubber & foam stamps. It is nice to be able to see these stamps "at a glance" and not rummage thru a drawer looking for them.
I went to 2 Targets yesterday. First one had none of the document boxes
and the 2nd one had 2...one had a big crack on the top of it & the other
one is missing one of the latch closures, which I didn't notice until I got
home with it. Called the3rd Target in my area & they have none. I'll keep the one I have for now & hopefully the stores will
be replenishing their supply soon. Also, that sounds like a great idea to
store the foam stamps in that box. Mine are not in a good place right
now. Thanks!
I saw these at Target the other day and didn't get any. :( Now I will have to go back and see if
they have any left. I am thinking of using them to store my scraps.

Someone else suggested using the boxes for scrap storage also. I think
it's a great idea. My current system works, but I'm not loving it. I have
my scraps in gallon size ziplock bags sorted by color families & one for
neutrals. It's kind of pesty (DH's word). I'd much rather be using those
neat clear boxes instead. Have to keep checking with my area Targets.
Wish me luck, please!
Thanks for the tip regarding the Stampin' Spots. I slipped all 48 of mine into one this afternoon. I, too, had picked a few of these up figuring that they would be good for something.
I bought 2 of these and wish I had gotten more. I've checked back twice and they are all out. Today, I asked about them and was told that Target is doing away with the Dollar section!
Well, that bums me out. I was only able to get one a couple weeks ago &
had hoped to get a bunch more to store my cardstock scraps in. I did a
lot of phone calling then to several of the Targets but none of them had
any more. At least not the ones close to me. I have the SKU # of
the clear ones & had hoped to be able to locate more of them.
