Hi all...I am trying to make gifts for the girls in my Bible Study...there are about 10 that I'll need to make so I want it to be fairly simple and possibly have a verse on it. I already did magnets last year. Any ideas?!
for my bible study group last year I covered some notebooks (mostly spiral bound type) that i had been buying for a while. I was able to get most on clearance for 50 cents or less.
The ladies could use them for journals, prayer requests, notes, or whatever.

I did this also! I forget why...I think it was randomly. I stamped their names on them and they looove them! Thanks everyone.
I have made Prayer Journals and scripture memory cards. For the memory cards use a spiral index card pack. I unwound the spiral from the pack and used SU! cardstock instead of their cover. I stamped "This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it" on the cover. I make a new cover for the back also but you can use what is there. Carefully rethread the wire onto the covers. Ribbon can be added to the wires to fancy it up. Embellish the cover however suits you! Then I write my favorite verse on the first page and invite them to use the rest of the pack to write their verses on. It makes a wonderful memory tool. I actually got the idea to try this from something Beth Moore said on one of her videos. You could use a Bind it All to make these but this way is prolly cheaper in the long run.
This year I bought some of the little balsam wood boxes that you can get at AC Moore or Michaels. I guess that everyone has them. I actually got them 3 for $1.00. I am staining them and on the computer I have printed to decoupage on them "Lord Here My Prayer". This way they can write out who they want to pray for and stick them in the box. I am also making the Christmas Nail for them. 'Good Luck.
