My photography leaves alot to be desired so I decided to try taking a picture of a card outdoors. After all, it is a beautiful spring day here, a little breezy, but bright sunshine. So now I look for the perfect spot. Wouldn't the pool be the perfect backdrop!
So I prop the card at the perfect angle and prepare to shoot when a small gust of wind blows my card into the pool. Not only that but it starts to float away out of reach! Luckily for me, cards float and I was able to get a stick to bring it back! Otherwise, I would have been diving into 69 degree water! I worked too hard on that card to let it go!!
Lesson learned, be careful where you stick your cards!!

Oh NO! So if your card were made during the Salem witch trials, we would have to assume that it was a witch? Not sure where that silly thought came from, but I just suddenly imagined the immersion test for witches. I think I need to get back to work, these vacation days are making me a little wacky! Glad your card survived. Make sure you add "water dousing" as the technique when you upload it

I swam in 69 degree water yesterday! It wasn't too bad...a little shocking at first, but nice after that. My kids started swimming in the pool in January!!! They're nuts!

OMG!! I'm in freezing New England. We won't get to open pools around here for at least 2 more months :(

StampingShawn: I saw your avatar and just had to post a picture I have my kids
heading into the ocean...
What you could have done is take a picture of it in the pool and then everyone would be asking you "how did you do that?"!!! The water might have made a really neat backdrop!
Update. I carefully patted the card as dry as possible, then put it between 2 white sheets of paper. Laid a 12-pack of sodas on it so it would dry flat. The front panel didn't get totally wet so it is still semi-okay. The sentiment has a bit of a smear as well as a few smears on the stamped background. But I had made it to cheer up a friend going through a separation. So maybe it will give her a chuckle!

I would include a hand written letter about the adventures this little card went on.....your friend will be laughing so hard she will forget all about her troubles....LOL! What a great friend you are to near dive in 60 degree water to save a card for a sad friend! Maybe you should get a windsock for your next photo op...thanks for the chuckle

The card was a Bella! Does this make her a witch?;)
