Question Hershey Candy Bar Wrapper with Ribbon

Does anyone have the directions for the Candy Bar Wrapper that has the ribbon attached? Scratching my head on this one. I've looke everywhere (I think) and I've been unable to find it. This would be for the regular size Hershey Bar (the ones you make Somore's out of). I'd greatly appreciate any assistance!

Hi,

I am not sure if this is what you needed - but thought this would help. I was just looking through the forums and did find a holder with a ribbon attached with a picture but I can't find it now. Here is instruction on how to do the wrapper that someone else posted that I found on-line here. Go to Forums and seach them all - I know I found it but it wasn't titled candy bar holder. Good luck and hope the below helps.

To make Hershey Bar Wrapper:
Cut piece of cs to 5 11/16” x 7”.
Score along 5 11/16” side at ” and 3 1/8”
Stamp outside and fold along scores.
Adhere back seam and bottom. Crimp bottom if desired.
Punch half circle at top using 1” circle punch (or square would work, too!).
Slide Hershey Bar in and ta-dum!!

These instructions make a great wrapper, and there is a template for this at http://www.jersgirl.com/templates/newhershey_wrapper_jersgirl.jpg . To make it into a "slider case", I would do it this way:

"Stamp, fold, and adhere on one long side. Punch hole in the center of one end (through both layers of cardstock) to thread ribbon through. The ribbon goes in from the outside, through the middle to the other side. Drop the candy bar in the middle, slide tag on, and then tie at the top. When you grab the ribbon and candy bar and pull, the candy bar comes out of the case."

Let me stop right here and say that I got these basic instructions from a post by Tygre, who made candy bar slider cases using Snickers. For a peek at them, check out these links to her gallery, then the instructions will make better sense.

candy bar slider inside

candy bar slider open

The paper will need to be shortened along one of the shorter edges, as the wrapper template makes a little "pouch" for the candy bar (adjust length to be about the same length as the Hershey Bar, which I measure to be about 5 1/2" long, so to make it easy, I would probably just use paper that is 5 11/16" square). Try it on a scrap and see...

I would also eliminate the half-circle punch as you will need this area to punch the smaller hole for the ribbon.
HTH and is not too confusing!
