Question Help...What are these OLD SU! stamp sets??

I just bought for a very small price a great big plastic tote full of stamping supples, mostly all SU! I got a bunch of inks and all the embossing stuff, etc., all of which I don't need but I just wanted the stamp sets that were in there, there are 17 sets all from 1993 to 1997. Since I have only stamped since February I have no idea what the name of these 4 stamp sets are and I left my camera at work so all I have is a description for you but maybe someone has some old catty's and can help me If not then I can put some pics of them here on Monday...

#1 from 1995 - 8 stamps all words, written in skinny lines, looks kind of "country" style; HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FROM THE HEART!, HOORAY FOR YOU!, Thinking of you, friend to friend, Thank You, Merry Christmas, Get Well Wishes

#2 from 1995 - 4 long stamps like for borders and stuff; tiny flowers, a vine with leaves, looks like little tulips, and dots w/a hole in the center, they are each 5 1/2 inches long by 1 1/2 inches tall.

#3 from 1993 - 8 stamps; "Friend to Friend" w/ 2 ragdolls, "From the Heart" inside a wreath heart, "Just for You" w/ a basket of flowers under it, "Warmest Wishes" w/a spray of flowers on top and under the words, "To: From:" w/a bow w/flowers to the left side of the words, "Thanks a bunch" w/a bouguet of flowers under words, "Happy Birthday" w/ribbon around all sides and flowers in the corner.

#4 from 1997 - 9 stamps that will be hard to describe...; these are all solid type stamps; a vine or sort of twisted tree branch, a beehive, a leaf, 2 solid fruits look like apples, a stem, an ivy branch, 3 small flowers and a tall birdhouse and a short birdhouse.

I know this is probably a longshot but I hope that some awesome long-time stamper can figure these out for me. Like I said, if no one can figure them from the description I can upload some pics on Monday! THANKS!!

1 more quick ?? There is a wheel handle and 3 wheel and 3 cartridges in this box too and I am wondering if the wheel inks can be refilled like a regular pad even though they are about 10 years old? Thanks!

Wow, lucky you! I think the first one is Nice & Easy Notes, which is STILL in the catty! Not sure about the others. I would go ahead and try to reink the cartridges. SU used to sell special reinkers, but now they say you can use regular ones. Worth a try! Enjoy your new stuff!

This one I found. It's Definitely Decorative Branch. It's a set of 9.
Item #9597-00 Wood Mounted $17.95 (from IB&C 1999-2000)

Still looking for the others!

Darn, no the one I have doesn't have anything except words. The Nice and Easy Notes in the catty has some of the same words but has an image to go with the words...thanks! I will definitely try to re-ink the cartridges. I have never used one so right now I am not quite sure how to put the cartridge in the handle...

No, no. They came unmounted. You just had a choice of having wood to mount the stamps on or a thicker foam to mount the stamps on.

I always bought the wood so I'm unfamiliar with the foam. Maybe someone else remembers???

I could be wrong!!!

I had to wip out my old cattys and go through them. Ironically I dont recognize most of the sets in the catalog as I flipped through it.

Now you ask me about new 2006-2007 catty or 2005-2006 or 2004-2005 one... they you are speaking my language.. have those memorized!

Ok, you guys are too good at this! Thanks so much!
They are:
1. Dot Greetings
2. Country Vine
3. Floral Greeting
4. Definitely Decorative Branch

I also only "speak" 2005-2006 & 2006-2007 catty so I was clueless!

Thanks so much for the prices and item numbers this might help me if I decide to sell or trade some that I don't want.
Off to the gallery to check out my new sets! I also got 6 Kaleidacolor pads and I need to see what to do with them!.

Thanks again!

Pretty card! I will have to try that. Strange enough, all of these stamp pads are still "inky" and my co-worker says she hasn't used any of this stuff in about 7 years!
Thanks.

No, that's not what "wood mounted" meant. At that time SU offered most sets with the choice of foam blocks or wood blocks to mount the stamps on. Foam was dramatically cheaper (also was not as nice to stamp with - especially larger stamps). I have several sets that I chose to have the foam mount because I could stomach the thought of spending nearly $30 for a stamp set (in the early 90's! that was ton of money...still is, as far as I'm concerned! )

Hope this clears up the mystery!
