Help! The rubber left the road!

Help! I was just using my alphabet stamps and when I was cleaing the Z, the rubber came right off the foam (the foam is still stuck to the block)! I put it in the microwave for 20 seconds to see if that would revive the stickiness to stick it back on but to no avail. Nothin'. Nada. Zilch. Any suggestions? Has anyone else ever had this problem??

you could re-attatch it with rubber cement. make sure you put cement on the rubber, and the foam, and let it dry for about 5 mins b-4 sticking back on. this should do the trick. HTH

Happens a lot! It is not defective. Simply use rubber cement on both the rubber and the foam. Let it set for a minute then put the rubber back on the foam!

Thanks, but I don't have any rubber cement. Any other suggestions in a pinch? Would crazy glue work? :?

Crazy glue dries "hard" so I would not be inclined to use that or anything else that dries hard ie crystal effects. I would wait until I bought some rubber cement and then fix it.

I have used teriffically Tacky Tape- the kind you use to make the microbead pens. It works great. Never tried the rubber cement.

You can also use Crystal Effects if you have it.

CE dries hard so you could end up with a hard lump under the rubber.
