Default refills for ATG guns

Anyone know a good online source for getting refills? I bought my gun while on vacation, so I can't go back to that store for refills and I don't think anyone down here carries the ATG.

thanks
Nancy

I just bought refills from just4funcrafts. I believe they are cheaper than framilingsupplies because they are the larger rolls.

When I was out of tape I checked several places and found a good price on Ebay. But since a box full of tape lasts a long time the prices will bounce up and down. Try a couple of places and be sure to check the shipping rate.

I buy from Framingsupplies.com too. They usually have super-quick service/delivery. In fact, I need to place an order right now...

Can the 60 yard rolls be used in the 714 gun?

I scoured the internet. Framingsupplies has the best combination of cost per roll and shipping that I could find. Plus they mailed my tape the day I ordered it. This time I went with the 924 instead of the gold and I like it better. It seems to roll a little easier? Or maybe I'm just imagining things.

FYI...I did some math. To equal the cost of 10 rolls of ATG tape (36 yards) it cost me $22.50. An equivalent amount of monoadhesive (if I order from TAC) is $128. Pretty amazing!

Wow! Thank you for letting us know - because I just kinda did the maths in my mind and thought it would probably work out cheaper but glad to know that it actually does!

If I am reading the shipping information correctly at Framing Supplies, the cost is based on the zone you live in. I live in zone 4 so shipping would be $23.27 which is a lot more than I paid when I used Armel a year ago. At that time I actually sat down and compared Framing Supplies and Armel when I purchased the ATG gun and the 924 1/4" X 36 yards of adhesive. I bought an entire box (12 rolls) because it was cheaper from Armel. It has lasted nearly a year and I use it all of the time. I tried to oder from Armel a month ago and was told that the last box was sold an hour before I called. The representative told me to check back at the end of the month and when I called today she said that she has to have a certain amount of orders before she can purchase from 3M. She took my name and number and said she would call me when it is available. So ladies call Lynne at Armel (1-800-637-3720 to express your interest so we can all get our refills I'm going to keep looking for another site that has lower shipping as I can't spend $23.27 on shipping alone. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to all. Thanks!

Do these 60 yard rolls work in the ATG 714 gun? Which is 1/4 inch?

Canadians are better off ordering from nhsmediastore.com Its much quicker and a comparable cost if you factor in customs & duty

Lynne, representative at Armel, emailed me to let me know that they are out of ATG guns at the moment but do have 908 Gold refills left. They have a flat rate shipping of $9.00 and some cents (can't remember off the top of my head). If enough of us express an interest maybe she can get her order quicker from 3M--the manufacturer. I really need the 924 1/4" as I'm down to my last roll--yikes!!!!

Lynne sent a hello to "basketballmom" if you are reading this

I was excited to check out their prices but found that the tapes I use are priced much higher then framing supplies: here is a comparison:

ATG 924: at FS it costs $2.38 at FT it is $3.90
ATG 969: at FS it costs $2.72 at FT it is $4.18
ATG Gold: at FS it costs: $3.03 at FT: $4.90

I did find a roll for $1.99 which would be reduced to $1.19 with the purchase of at least 144 rolls (a case) and would ask how the tack is as even in it's description it sounded inferior to the others.

The do have a couple non 3M guns that are quite reasonable though

Ok - I got the refill, but I'm having a heck of a time reloading the gun. Anyone else have problems? Any advice?

Sorry - hadn't seen this thread in awhile. Yes, the 60 yard rolls fit the 714. I don't think it is the gold tape though. I didn't realize that when I ordered, so I hope my scrapbook pages are okay.
