Help needed with Christmas ornaments
 

I have recently been attempting to make some Christmas ornaments similar to ones I saw in the gallery. They were done by stamping on acetate with Stayz-on and then coloured with Sharpies. I thought it would be a cool craft to do with my students at Christmas. My problem: when I colour the stamped images with the Sharpies, the Sharpies are taking the Stayz-on ink right off the acetate. I have tried letting it dry for several minutes before colouring and heat setting. Any ideas on how to fix this or what I am doing wrong?

Don't color the side you stamped with StazOn, color the back side. This will also let the image's outlines stay vivid.
