Help with MINI lunch tin....

Well, I was so excited when I saw my box arrived from Creative Express today as it wasn't due to arrive until tomorrow. However, my excitment quickly turned to disappointment as I realized I ordered 8 MINI top loading lunch tins. I had bought a bunch when they were on sale for $2.50 so when I saw these for $5 each, I assumed they were the same size. I guess the ones that are priced $9.99 are the bigger size.
So.......has anyone else used these mini ones? They are 4" high, 5.5" long, and 2 3/4 inches deep. They are too little for cards. Any information would be greatly appreciated as I hope I haven't wasted $40.

You could use them to put recipe cards in. Or other small gifts.
