Michael's is offering the Xyron 510 for 59.99, and the 900 for 69.99--with (the equivalent of) 30% off tomorrow (coupon for day after Thanksgiving), they're only about $42 and $49. Is this a good value, and does anyone recomment one over the other?
It seems like part of how to evaluate the value is by seeing how much of the adhesive/laminate/magnet material is included, and I don't know in this case.

I think www.wilde-ideas.com generally has the best prices ($29.99 for the 510 and $4.95 flat rate shipping on orders over $50 - just add on a couple of adhesive rolls!) BUT I recently got a 510 packaged with a small Xyron scrapbook & extra roll of adhesive at Office Depot for $29.99. It was one of those specially packaged deals; can't recall what they called it.
if you look at the front of the paper there are coupons for 10 bucks off a $40 or more purchase and the coupon says that it is good on sale merchandise so you can use iton the xyron.
As PaisleyPrincess noted, the coupons tomorrow are good on sale merchandise--there is also a $5 off of $25, and a $30 off of $100 (the best of the three, percentagewise); in addition, the coupons can be used cumulatively (for example, $45 off of $165).

I have been wanting one of these. But the inlaws are coming over tomorrow and Michaels is an hour away. I'll be spending the day cooking. No new toys for me tomorrow.

The xyron 510 that Michaels has advertised for $49.99 I think comes with all the different cartridges. If that is the case, than I think it is a good deal. Now the question is do I want to brave the traffic to get one tomorrow or not. I really want one of these. Ann
