Default help with letters

not sure if this is the right place to post ...

does anyone know how to use microsoft word to make letters hollow? I did this once before when the monogram stamps from su were released and was able to get the same look with out buying the stamp, but I can't remember how I did it. I know I enlarged it a lot and then somehow I was able to make the letter into an outline with an empty center which I was then able to cut out and stamp in. If anyone has any idea what I'm talking about or how to do it please let me know. TIA

Highlight your text. Right click it. Go to font. Check the box that says outline.
