Default I went to an awesome stamp retreat this weekend!

Three of us took off Friday afternoon for southern Wisconsin. The retreat was held at Lutherdale Bible camp in Elkhorn, WI. There were 4 workshops with a SU consultant and in each workshop we made 3 projects. We did stuff like marbles, shaving cream, waxed paper techniques. Just so much fun. And the consultant was so great. We stayed in the camp's retreat center so our room and work room were in the same building. It was about a 3 minute walk to the dining hall. The food was very good. Breakfasts were eggs/bacon and pancakes, cereal, fruit, etc. Our one lunch was pizza and salad and the dinner was chicken and rice, carrots, salad bar, etc.

We had a show and tell Sunday morning before taking off. I got all my Christmas cards done, several other cards, some domino pins, some calendar covers - so much fun!

And you couldn't beat the price. For all the food, lodging, projects, etc. from Friday night to Sunday at 11am was I think 130.00

One of the really great things about the consultant was that she brought a huge selection of her personal stamp sets that we could check out and use. She had all the inks, markers, wheels that we could check out as well.

She was from Madison, WI. We were looking through her scrapbook and she is one of the top 50 consultants in the country - and it was easy to see why. I know she comes to this board so Gina if you read this, the whole weekend was a blast and the projects were incredible!

Plus the camp is so beautiful and peaceful.

We are definitely going back in the spring when they have their combo scrap/stamp weekend!

Thanks! I also got some domino pins made as well.

I forgot to mention that almost everyone got door prizes and EVERYONE got a mono refill from our consultant as a thank you.

I'm already counting down until the next retreat!
